How to play DEXXUS

How DEXXUS works, how to create and join rooms, match phases, XP and Score, leaderboards, Reward Friday, wallet verification and Premium.

In-app values are authoritative

Values and feature availability can be changed by the DEXXUS team. Where the app displays a live countdown, requirement or reward value, the in-app value is authoritative.

01

What is DEXXUS?

A fast-paced crypto prediction game built directly inside Telegram.

DEXXUS lets you predict the next short-term market move without buying, selling or holding the underlying asset. Each round asks one simple question: will the selected token finish the round above or below its starting price?

Choose UP or DOWN, compete against other players and build a long-term record through XP, Score and winning streaks. During active reward periods, Weekly Score also determines your proportional share of the Reward Friday pool.

Why DEXXUS?

  • Predict short-term crypto price movements
  • Compete directly against other players
  • Play with friends, Telegram communities or public rooms
  • Build winning streaks and long-term XP
  • Earn Weekly and Total Score
  • Compete on Weekly, All-Time and Win Rate leaderboards
  • Participate in Reward Friday when the reward system is active
JOIN→PREDICT→WATCH→SCORE→REPEAT

DEXXUS does not execute a trade when you make a prediction. A normal game round itself does not require you to stake funds.

02

Getting Started & Main Menu

  1. Open DEXXUS through Telegram.
  2. Tap Get Started.
  3. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions.
  4. Enter the DEXXUS Main Menu.

Your DEXXUS profile is connected to your Telegram account.

Main Menu

The Main Menu is your central hub. At the top, the app shows key performance information such as XP, Weekly Score and Win Rate. The Live Lobby lists active rooms and their current status:

  • Room name
  • Selected token and network
  • Round length
  • Current room phase
  • Number of players
  • Time remaining in the current phase

The bottom navigation provides access to Profile, Create Room, Leaderboard and — when enabled — the ETH claim/reward area.

03

Rooms

Create your own market challenge or join an existing room.

Creating a room

Tap Create Room from the Main Menu. Room creation currently consists of three core choices:

  1. Room Name — choose your own name or use the random name generator.
  2. Token — search for a supported token or select one from Trending. The app displays the token network and uses supported live price sources for the market feed.
  3. Round Length — choose 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes.

After confirming the configuration, create the room. You are automatically added as its first player.

Inviting players

Every room can be shared through a Telegram Mini App link. Inside a room, open the menu and select Share. Send the link to friends, groups, communities or other DEXXUS players. A player opening the link sees a room preview before joining, including the selected token, round length, network and current player count.

Joining a room

Join rooms from the Live Lobby or through a shared room link. If the room is in WAITING or VOTING, you can enter as an active player. If you join while a round is already RUNNING, you can watch that round and participate from the next available round.

Leaving a room

Use Leave Room and confirm. A player can only actively belong to one room at a time; joining or creating another room moves you away from the previous room.

Inactivity

To keep rooms healthy, DEXXUS can remove players who remain inactive for an extended period. The current inactivity grace period is approximately 10 minutes. If removed, the app offers a Recover access action before you join and play again.

04

How a Match Works

Every round automatically moves through a fixed game cycle.

WAITING→VOTING→RUNNING→VALIDATION→NEXT ROUND

WAITING

A normal round needs at least two active players. If there are not enough players, the room remains in WAITING. As soon as the room is ready, DEXXUS starts the voting phase automatically.

The House Player

If exactly one real player is waiting, DEXXUS can add a server-controlled House Player after a short delay so the room remains playable. When another real user enters, the House Player leaves.

  • Does not earn XP
  • Does not earn Score
  • Does not receive ETH rewards
  • Does not reduce the reward share allocated to real players
  • In a one-player match, it waits for the real player's prediction and then votes on the opposite side

VOTING

Before every round, a voting window opens — currently around 15 seconds. Choose UP if you believe the end price will be higher than the round's start price, or DOWN if you believe it will be lower.

Locked means locked

Once you submit UP or DOWN, the prediction is locked and cannot be changed for that round.

Blind Voting

Before you submit your own prediction, DEXXUS hides the crowd distribution. Your vote is therefore an independent pick. Once your prediction is locked, the app can reveal how the rest of the room voted.

Early Voting Bonus

Voting earlier can improve your reward profile. At the beginning of the voting window, the current maximum bonus is up to +6 XP and up to 1.20× Score Share weight. The bonus gradually decreases as the voting timer approaches zero, and is locked when you vote.

The early XP bonus matters only when your prediction wins. Score Share weight affects how the round Score is divided among multiple correct real players; it does not automatically increase the total Score distributed by the round.

If you do not vote

If the voting window closes without an UP or DOWN pick, your state becomes NO VOTE. You can still watch the market but receive 0 XP and 0 Score for that round. A missed vote is not treated as a normal win or loss.

RUNNING

When voting closes, DEXXUS records the round starting price — the price to beat — and starts the selected 15s, 30s, 1m or 5m market timer. Live prices update while the round runs, and the UI shows whether your prediction is currently winning or losing.

End price vs. start priceResult
HigherUP wins
LowerDOWN wins
Effectively unchangedEVEN

A very small technical tolerance is used so insignificant floating-point differences do not create a false UP or DOWN result.

VALIDATION

After the market timer ends, DEXXUS enters a validation/result phase of approximately 10 seconds. The result screen can show the start and end price, percentage move, your prediction, the winning side, XP, Score, Early Vote Bonus, Streak Bonus and Score Share weight.

Possible player states include YOU WON, YOU LOST, EVEN, NO VOTE and SPECTATOR. After validation, the next voting phase starts automatically.

If players leave during a round

If the number of active players falls below the minimum required state, DEXXUS can stop the current round and return the room to WAITING. A fresh voting phase begins once the room is valid again.

EVEN rounds

  • Award the configured EVEN XP reward
  • Award no Score
  • Do not count as a normal win or loss
  • Currently do not reset the player's Win Streak
05

XP, Score & Leaderboards

XP tracks progression. Score tracks competitive performance and weekly reward share.

XP

OutcomeCurrent XP
Correct prediction100 XP + Early Vote Bonus + applicable Streak Bonus
Wrong prediction25 XP
EVEN10 XP
NO VOTE0 XP

XP is long-term progression and does not reset every Friday.

Score

Only correct predictions earn Score. A normal round currently contains a total of 1.00 Score for the real winning players.

  • One real winner — the player receives the full 1.00 Score.
  • Multiple real winners — the 1.00 Score is split proportionally according to each winner's locked Score Share weight. An earlier voter can therefore receive a larger share than a later voter.

The House Player is excluded from this calculation.

Weekly Score vs. Total Score

MetricPurposeReset
Weekly ScoreCurrent Reward Friday cycle and Weekly LeaderboardResets after weekly finalization
Total ScoreLifetime competitive performance and All-Time LeaderboardDoes not reset

Win Streaks

Consecutive correct predictions build a Win Streak. The profile tracks both Current and Best Win Streak. Under the current configuration, milestone streaks award bonus XP:

StreakBonus XP
2 wins+5 XP
3 wins+15 XP
5 wins+40 XP
7 wins+75 XP
10 wins+150 XP
Every additional 5 wins after 10+150 XP

The current daily Streak Bonus cap is 300 XP. A normal loss resets the streak. An EVEN result currently keeps it unchanged.

Leaderboards

  • Weekly — ranks players by Weekly Score and can show your approximate percentage share of total Weekly Score.
  • All-Time — ranks players by lifetime Total Score. XP can be used as a tie-breaker.
  • Win Rate — ranks players by prediction accuracy (Wins / Decided Rounds). A player currently needs at least 5 decided rounds before the rate is treated as established; before that it is shown as Provisional.

Reward Friday

The weekly reward system that turns qualifying Weekly Score into a proportional ETH allocation.

During active reward periods, DEXXUS tracks Weekly Score throughout the week instead of assigning an ETH payout after every single match. At the end of the weekly cycle, eligible players receive a proportional allocation of the available reward pool based on their share of total Weekly Score.

The standard current weekly snapshot is Friday at 18:00 UTC. The live countdown displayed inside DEXXUS should be treated as authoritative for the next snapshot.

How it works

  1. Play during the week and make predictions.
  2. Correct predictions add to your Weekly Score.
  3. Your share is calculated as Your Weekly Score / Total Weekly Score of eligible players.
  4. At the Friday snapshot, the completed week and its available ETH pool are finalized.
  5. Each eligible player's ETH allocation is stored for that specific week and no longer changes with later wallet deposits or later gameplay.
  6. Weekly Score resets for the next cycle, while Total Score, XP and long-term statistics remain.

Reward phase and pool funding

Reward Friday creates new ETH allocations only while the reward phase is shown as active in the app. During an inactive phase, Weekly Score remains a game and leaderboard metric, but newly earned Score does not create a monetary claim. A future activation time or official announcement does not apply retroactively unless its published rules explicitly say so.

For an active cycle, the designated Claim Wallet must be pre-funded directly with ETH before the scheduled Friday cutoff. The finalized weekly pool is based on the eligible, spendable balance captured at that cutoff and is limited by the weekly USD cap configured for the live deployment. If processing is missed or delayed beyond the short operational grace period, DEXXUS closes that old cycle without using a newer wallet balance.

  • Funds already in the Claim Wallet at the scheduled cutoff can fund that week's pool.
  • Funds arriving after the scheduled cutoff can only affect a later weekly cycle, even if an outage delays processing; they never increase the older cycle.
  • Unused balance remains in the Claim Wallet and may be available for a later active cycle.
Active and inactive are explicit states

The live app is authoritative for whether new rewards are active and for the next snapshot time. Funding the Claim Wallet alone does not activate rewards. Likewise, disabling new weekly rewards does not recalculate or enlarge a previously finalized allocation.

The configured USD cap applies per week

Each finalized weekly pool is capped independently using the value configured for that deployment. Waiting two or more weeks before claiming can therefore produce one combined payout whose total is higher than one weekly cap, but only because it contains several separately capped weekly allocations.

Reward calculation

Formula

Your pool share = Your Weekly Score / Total Weekly Score
Your gross allocation = Available weekly reward pool × Your pool share

Each weekly gross ETH allocation is fixed at finalization. The estimated payout shown when claiming is the sum of all unclaimed weekly gross allocations minus one current aggregate network fee, so the displayed net payout can move slightly as network costs change.

Example

Assume the finalized weekly reward pool is worth 500 USD and the total eligible Weekly Score is 1,000. You earned 50 Weekly Score. Your pool share is 50 / 1,000 = 5%, so your gross allocation equals 5% of the finalized weekly reward pool. If the pool were denominated as 5 ETH in another example, the same 5% share would correspond to 0.25 ETH before any applicable transaction-cost adjustment.

Reward dashboard

  • Next Cashout — date and countdown to the next weekly snapshot.
  • Projected ETH — an estimate of what your reward would look like if finalization happened at that moment.
  • Finalized gross and estimated payout — the fixed gross allocation from completed weeks and its current net estimate after one network fee.
  • Your Share — your current percentage of total Weekly Score.
  • Total Weekly Score — combined eligible Weekly Score.
  • Your Weekly Score — your own contribution to the current cycle.
Projection is not a guarantee

Your projected allocation can change as other players gain Score, the reward pool changes, network costs change, or the reward system is not yet active.

Claiming ETH

When a weekly reward has been finalized and transfers are active, a player with a positive estimated payout can connect an Ethereum-compatible wallet and request it. If the player waits, that week's stored gross ETH allocation remains fixed: a larger Claim Wallet balance in a later week does not retroactively increase it.

Positive unclaimed gross allocations from multiple finalized weeks are added together and paid in one claim, minus one current aggregate network fee for that combined transaction. The gross total stays fixed, while the displayed net payout can vary slightly with current network costs. Gameplay after a Friday snapshot belongs to the new cycle: the player can therefore have older frozen gross allocations and, separately, a changing Weekly Score and projection for the current week. The current week's projection becomes claimable only after that cycle is finalized.

Wallet & Premium

Connecting a wallet

A wallet is not required for normal DEXXUS gameplay. It is used for functions such as claiming ETH, Premium eligibility and proving token ownership.

Wallet verification asks you to sign a message proving control of the wallet. The signature is not a trade, does not transfer your tokens, normally does not require gas and does not reveal your private key.

DEXXUS never needs your seed phrase

Verification only ever asks for a signature. The first successful wallet verification currently awards +10 XP.

Premium

DEXXUS contains a Premium system that can currently be unlocked by progression or by meeting a token-holding requirement displayed in the app.

  • By playing — reach the current XP threshold. The present implementation uses 1,000 XP as the automatic Premium threshold.
  • By holding $DXXS — connect a wallet containing the required amount. The app checks eligibility on-chain without taking custody of the tokens. The required amount can be changed and the in-app value is authoritative.

Quick Examples & FAQ

Example round

You enter a 30-second ETH room. The voting phase opens and you expect ETH to move higher, so you select UP. Your pick locks immediately. Because you voted relatively early, DEXXUS also locks an Early Vote Bonus and increased Score Share weight. Only after your vote is locked can you see the crowd distribution.

Voting ends at an ETH start price of $3,500.00. The 30-second round begins. ETH ends at $3,503.50, so UP wins. You receive the base win XP plus your locked Early Vote Bonus and any applicable Streak Bonus. You also receive your proportional share of the round's 1.00 Score, added to Weekly Score and Total Score. After validation, the next voting window starts.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a wallet to play?

No. A wallet is required only for wallet-dependent functions such as claiming rewards or on-chain Premium eligibility.

Can I change my prediction?

No. Once UP or DOWN is submitted, the pick is locked for that round.

Can I see how everyone else voted first?

No. The crowd distribution is hidden until your own prediction is locked.

What happens if I miss the vote?

You can watch the round, but receive 0 XP and 0 Score for that round.

Does Weekly Score always mean money?

No. When the reward phase is inactive, Weekly Score is a game and competition metric only and newly earned Score does not create an ETH allocation.

What happens to Score on Friday?

When an active weekly reward cycle is finalized, that week's allocation is stored and Weekly Score resets. Total Score, XP and any older unclaimed allocation remain.

Can a later deposit change an older reward?

No. Each player's gross ETH allocation is fixed when that week is finalized. Later Claim Wallet deposits are available only to later cycles; only the net estimate can move with the current network fee.

What if I claim several weeks at once?

Unclaimed finalized weekly gross allocations are combined and one current aggregate network fee is deducted. The payout may exceed one weekly cap in total because the configured limit applies separately to each finalized week.

Where does reward liquidity come from?

The Claim Wallet must be pre-funded directly with ETH before the scheduled cutoff. Each active weekly pool uses no more than the configured weekly USD cap of eligible funds, while unused balance can remain for later cycles.
